David T. Konig Lecture: Writing Constitutional History in Perilous Times
Join us for a talk by Jack N. Rakove, who is the Coe Professor of History and American Studies and Professor of Political Science, Emeritus at Stanford University.
Professor Rakove is one of the preeminent historians of the U.S. Constitution and received the Pulitzer Prize for his book, Original Meanings. He will give us a sneak peak of his current work on the origins and ongoing meaning of the Constitution. He will also share with us challenges of writing about these questions at this difficult political moment.
