The U.S. War in Afghanistan: An Update

Seth Jones is the author of In the Graveyard of Empires: America's War in Afghanistan. He is the director of the Transnational Threats Project and a senior advisor with the International Security Program at the Center for Strategic and International Studies.

Part of the Crisis & Conflict in Historical Perspective co-curricular initiative, which serves undergraduates considering careers in policy as well as the greater WashU and St. Louis communities seeking historically-informed discussion about global events.
