Winner of the Wesley-Logan Prize
Please join the Department of History in congratulating Professor Sowande’ Mustakeem, who has received the Wesley-Logan Prize in African diaspora history from the American Historical Association for her 2016 book, Slavery at Sea: Terror, Sex, and Sickness in the Middle Passage.
Slavery at Sea joins some of the most important work in African-American history and Atlantic history that have been recognized with the Wesley-Logan Prize.
