Haochen Wang receives Dean’s Award for Teaching Excellence

Haochen Wang

Haochen Wang, a doctoral student in history, has been named a 2020–21 recipient of the Dean’s Award for Teaching Excellence by the Graduate School. The award is given annually to graduate students who have been nominated by their departments for exemplary teaching.

Wang researches the interactions between foreigners and Beijing police officers in the early 20th century. Last fall, Wang taught an undergraduate class on the comparative history of modern policing.
